Great taste and atmosphere. My favorite part was the HUGE Kinpa roll with avocado, tuna, cucumber and other deliciousness for only 600 yen!

Best ramen I have ever had! Aki prepares your ramen the best!

My friend and I went there for supper. We are served by a lady, her hair is down to the neck. She looks unfriendly that make me feel I owned her a million. When my friend had questions about the menu, she rolled her eyes. The worst part is fifteen minutes after having finished eating, we had the diarrhea! We had an avocado (avocado pieces were putris) and tuna salad, a stir-fry dish of bean sprouts and pork and a stir-fry dish of eggplant. Now it’s your turn to try out this restaurant.

Delicious food especially the seaweed tempura. Right next to the American Village.

Although I haven't tried the food here I can tell you that their customer service is horrible and there are other reviews supporting this. Upon entering the restaurant with a friend we were just standing around waiting to be greeted for five minutes until I looked for an employee. I found an older Japanese worker and she rudely told us they were full. I asked if there was a waiting time and she replied she didn't know while walking away from us. Her attitude reflects that she doesn't care about the customers. I wanted to try this place because of its high ratings but I have no intentions of going back.

Absolutely amazing ramen and gyoza, great atmosphere. Sushi left something to be desired, but you have plenty of options for that.

Best Ramen, the garlic ramen is the way to go

Good place to drink and dine. Delicious local dishes at reasonable price. We spent about 6500 for 4 adults with alcoholic drinks. Recommend to order the stir-fry tofu with bean sprouts (we ended up ordering 2 servings of this), Jimami tofu & the ramen. Only downfall is the service, they served the locals very promptly but serve us (tourists) with much delays. 2 of the staff practically glanced over and ignored us.

Very bad customer service. Waitress was extremely rude and snobby to us. Her name is Motoko. Food was only decent but rude service made it a bad experience overall. Will never return, there are better places to eat at.

Anyway, I had a bad feeling. The food isn't so delicious, the attitude of the clerk. The review is questionable. The receipt was suspicious only by the amount of money. Please be careful everyone.

Izakaya with yakido ramenIf you don't want to crowd the famous Izakaya (International Izakaya) with tourists, this place is for you. Ramen must be ordered! Tongtang's black garlic tonkotsu ramen is my favorite. I ordered a few fried items and Japanese food without thunder. You can rest assured to personal preference.The old Japanese-style house is directly used as a storefront, and the atmosphere and food in the store are authentic. There are Chinese, English, Korean menus, and you can also order photos with tabelog.こ の 居酒屋 は 通 堂 ラ ー メ ン を 売 っ て い ま す.ラ ー メ ン は 一番 め で す, 特 に 黒 ニ ン ニ ク ラ ー メ ン メ 大好 き で す店 の の 囲 気 が よ く て, cooking も 美食 し い で す良 い 店 と 思 い ま すIt ’s a retro Japanese furnishing style. The dish is quite palatable and authentic. I also love to getting ramen here.Menus are translated in Chinese, English and Korean, and you can order by photos on tabelog / google as well.

Average food and average atmosphere

1. Food was good, love their squid noodles. 2. Green seaweed tempura was one of a kind! 3. Salad full of seafood!!! Soooo good!!!!4. Can’t believe this was the place I found the best rice in Okinawa.5. Fried chicken was kind of cold...not that good. *Overall it’s a great place for a late night dinner, easy to get some traditional Okinawa food here. There’s only one problem...the staff at the counter was super mad when I ask her to check the bill of food we ordered... I was like can I see the list? She said you understand?(points Japanese and gives me a look) I was like WTF GIRL yah I understand the Chinese symbols and how many dishes we ordered ok? why so mean????

Super comfortable island delight. Went with group of seven so it took just a little while to be seated but the staff and food made up for the wait.

I loved this Izakaya!! Cozy and friendly not to mention the cold Orion beer !! Perfect for people that are alone is the counter seat!!

Probably the best Ramen I've had on the island. They take Yen or Credit card. Arrive early, they fill up or sell out fast. I generally plan to arrive when they open at 530. Gyoza is excellent as is the Spicy Ramen.

Great food. Service was a bit poor. No call button. We were stuck in a room off the main room a bit and would have to yell to order. One waitress was in a really bad mood. I kept trying to order and she kept trying to run away. They also forgot one of our dishes, but charged us for it. Wait was very long and they seated a couple before us that came after us. I think she was confused, but didn't admit it. However, the food here was really great and they had a lot of local Okinawan dishes.

Great place to hang out for drinks. You could order ramen noodle next door and eat in in this restaurant. Reservation is a must after 18:00. If you are staying at Hilton, it’s about 10 min walking distance.

The food is good and there are lots of places to sit. The food taste good depending on your order or taste. There's one chef so sometimes your order will come a little later.

The female waiters were very unfriendly and not very polite . The food is ok. One thing to highlight is that the whole restaurant even the indoor is smoking allowed, not good for children and pregnant women.

Great ramen, and good selection of sushi. I love getting ramen from here because the broth is not too salty nor does it lack taste. The ramen noodles are also cooked to a nice softness/hardness. The fried gyoza tastes amazing

decent food but RUDE staff. if you hate smoke, DO NOT GO HERE. They will not open windows cuz insects fly in. I said: USE WINDOW SCREENS!! the table next to us had 4 smokers who came in just as our order came to our table. Arghhh. I hate smoke. Even after I complained to waitress, they kept smoking and smoking non-stop. Never again!

When I drink with a friend in Chatan, I go here first.All-you-can-drink is 1500 yen for 2 hours including draft.Okinawa cuisine is the main dish, but there are also creative dishes, so the price is reasonable and delicious!It's a popular restaurant, so be sure to make a reservation.

My favorite ramen on island!! ♥️ I love the gyoza, to-fu ramen, and pork ramen. My husband prefers the garlic ramen 😊 A mini is like a small here and filling! You have the option to add extra noodles, and the the noodles here are amazing!!

My favorite izakaya. We piss off the locals, but they treat us nicely regardless. Great food, alcohol selection, and atmosphere.

Beautiful Izakaya that you would not expect next to this stupid american village. The prices are fair. Excellent ramen and gyoza are offered. The service is also very friendly to tourists. I would come back here anytime. The only thing that bothers here are Americans! 😎

Did not have dinner there with my family, just got rudely bounced by the waitress, who apparently still needs to learn from customer service. Place looks cozy, sorry things stopped at the surface.

An authentic and high quality taste of Okinawan cuisine! This izakaya is located nearby American Village, very convenient location. Tucked away behind a shopping complex and disguised as a cozy house, Kingaginpa is truly a hidden gem! Step inside and you'll find retro Japanese furnishings mixed in local Okinawan style. Staff are usually very busy and don't speak too much English but the menus are fully translated in Chinese, English and Korean. Definitely a great dining experience for anyone looking for Okinawan cuisine in the area.
